Vosper Thornycroft (VT) Shipbuilding have designed and built nearly three hundred ships for over thirty navies, including the Royal Navy over the last thirty years. The military products it builds today include Corvettes, Fast Strike Craft, Patrol Vessels and Mine Counter Measures Vessels.

VT has taken over an area approximately of 33 acres within Portsmouth Naval Base, which includes several dry docks and large buildings. With modern, well located facilities coherently grouped on the shores of Portsmouth Harbour, VT Shipbuilding hopes to remain a long term supplier to the Ministry of Defence, to overseas customers and to the specialist commercial marine sector.

VT Suport Services, Portsmouth - VT has been on the forefront of military and commercial boatbuilding since 1952 and is now one of the world's leading manufacturers of specialist boats from 6m to 40m. Their range is manufactured from GRP or advanced composites and designed military, commercial and rescue.

A&P Shipcare (Solent) - specialise in cruise, ferry and container vessels, with a well established afloat repair team including riding squads.

Fleet Support Ltd, Portsmouth - Fleet Support Limited is an engineering and support services company operating at the heart of the integrated surface ship design, build and through life support community in Portsmouth. Originally founded in 1998 to manage the former Portsmouth Royal Dockyard, the company is a 50/50 joint venture between VT Group and BAE Systems. Its services include seven drydocks, service range to 295m, shiprepair, refits, maintenance and conversion.
