One of the objectives of the Solent Forum is to collate and present information for its members that will assist them in their everyday business but for which they might not have the time or resources to do themselves.  This Guide has been written to introduce and provide information on the licences and consents that are needed to undertake work and development around the coast.  It has been funded by Solent Forum members with sponsorship from the Crown Estate's Marine Communities Fund.  The work was overseen by the Solent Forum's steering group.  The Guide was launched at the Solent Forum meeting on 14 March 2012.  The following organisations helped in its drafting.
